It has an 8-position variable speed selection and constant speed electronics with soft start for smooth start-up. The 3-position bale handle provides improved tool control.

The removable dust screen prevents debris ingress, prolonging motor life and a rubber over-moulded gear case for increased comfort, especially when working with the tool vertically. Its lock-on function provides more comfortable use when polishing for longer periods. REDLINK PLUS™ intelligence system delivers the most advanced digital overload protection for the tool and battery, and uniquely enhances the tool performance under load.
